In need of Shloer

By Al

For those who don’t know, I’m into acting. I do a lot at the theatre (and am currently rehearsing for a comedy called ‘It Runs in the Family’ by Ray Cooney) and I’m trying to get more work. I’ve recently done some extras work for Channel 4 for their upcoming binge drinking drama “Big Night Out” which airs October 9th in the UK which means that you might see my arm or the back of my head. :) And if anyone’s seen the BBC comedy ‘Extras‘, it’s just like that (eating on buses, sitting around for long periods of time, talking to other extras about what they’ve done, etc). It’s basically 12 hours of standing around with about 20 minutes of actual filming. I got to see a stunt of a guy being hit by a car though, that was cool!

There’s a movie that’s being made soon that a fellow actor told me about so I’ve applied for it and got a reply saying that I should be hearing tomorrow about whether or not I’ve been shortlisted for auditions. So fingers crossed.

Anyways, I’ve just got back from my driving lesson and the whole time I had the car window open. Then I sat down in my room and thought about how my bedroom has a window. And how other rooms in my house have windows. And how windows are made of glass. And how glass is used to hold drinks. And how people like drinking, which brought me back to driving because drinking and driving is bad. But lego is good. As is Play-Doh. And the other week I was wondering how they make play-doh. I know they don’t use lego, but it must be like water and flour or something. Maybe it has some special secret ingredient like tasty food has, except play-doh isn’t edible. But pizza is. And I like pizza. Especially on pizza cos that’s just like two pizzas which is twice the fun. But I’ve run out of pizza so I’m a bit upset, but thankfully I’ve got ice-cream so I’m okay. But then I remember about my favorite ice-cream;

Ben & Jerry's Vanilla Flavoured Ice-Cream

Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla Flavoured Ice-Cream is awesome - but no-where stocks it now. They stock other Ben & Jerry’s ice-creams, but not the vanilla ones. Not even Tesco do. I bet it’s them still trying to get back at me, like some big conspiracy like the whole Area 51 thing or why I can’t find a pen right now even though my dad always has loads in his car, which is currently in Wales with him on holiday. Which makes me think of cars and how I actually had quite a good driving lesson today.

Shloer withdrawal is kicking in. I need to get some soon - FAST!
