Pizza has failed me
General By Al - August 15th, 2005For the first time, pizza has failed me.
I tried to go out earlier on a mission to get food. I got distracted by the net. I then tried again, but was distracted by tv. I then tried again, but realised that I had infact fallen asleep infront of the tv. So it was 9pm and I thought “I’ll order pizza”. For TWO HOURS I was repeatedly phoning up the pizza delivery place but to no avail. They would not answer.
They shut 25 minutes ago. Do you know what that means? It means no pizza. Not from them and not from anywhere else, cos nowhere is open at 11:25pm. Aside from the 24 hour garage which I very much doubt sell pizza. Crisps? Yes. Microwavable burgers that taste just like the cardboard packaging? Yes. Pizza? No!
Although, I’m THAT hungry having not eaten anything today (a mixture of laziness, distractions and sleep) I may very well have to brave the depths of the darkness to travel to that mystical place known as the garage. I haven’t got a clue what I’ll be able to get from there other than chocolate, especially as the petrol probably tastes better than their burgers.
How could pizza have done this to me? How could it have possibly betrayed me in such a fowl way? Did I do something wrong? Was pizza upset that I only had curry this weekend? Perhaps it’s just doing the whole “Treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen” thing?
Well pizza, just to let you know – I’m very keen so please just stop being mean!
I miss my pizza….

Slipped in snow. Hurt my leg. Hobbled to the tube station. Missed my train. Damn you snow!

This is awesome:
Wow, @zavvi is pretty useless, they sent a £70 item wrapped in a thin bag! Let's see if their customer service is any good.

I Love Pizza!
Unlucky with the pizza company, maybe they were also very hungry, and decided they wanted pizza, and the realised they had eaten them all, and then decided to close, because they knew you would want their pizza. I think its highly likely.
