XalKeys

By Al

I recently got an Apple Keyboard, Apple Mighty Mouse and of course my sweeeeeet 20-inch Apple Cinema Display. I spent a while trying to figure out how to fully set up the keyboard and mouse with XP and decided that I’d release my hard work for others to save them the hassle.

Normally when you install an Apple Keyboard, most of the keys will work, but there are a few which won’t. Also, you’ll find that the keys on the keyboard don’t match up with a lot of the symbols that get typed, so XalKeys is designed to match everything up with what’s on your keyboard.

The Apple Mighty Mouse is already designed to work with Windows XP, but the side buttons are restricted to being a back button. On Mac OS X it can be configured to work with Exposé. XalKeys adds this functionality to your Mighty Mouse in conjunction with Exposé clones such as TopDesk or WinPlosion.
