In my last post I mentioned that I got an email. Technically that isn’t true, because it was actually a comment left on this site. But, like all comments on this site, it was emailed to me and when it landed in my inbox I was blown away. Not literally like someone accidentally standing on a landmine, but it was an awesome message.

The following comment was posted on one of my previous posts entitled “I love Shloer“;

Hi Al,

I was just about to reply to your email that came through the Shloer website but thought a more appropriate way to contact you would be through your ‘I love Shloer’ page! Great site by the way!

I commend your attempt at giving up Shloer for Lent but thank goodness it’s nearly over so Shloer sales can recover!
If you contact me again when Lent is over to let me know you have succeeded in not drinking the good stuff throughout the whole of Lent, I will send you a congratulatory bottle of Shloer to get the ball rolling again!

I also wanted to let you know that we are doing a big push this year on getting Shloer into pubs and bars and would really appreciate your help in encouraging anyone you speak to about Shloer to ask in their locals for Shloer whenever they are in them to help with this cause!

Great to hear from you,

Zoe - Shloer Assistant Brand Manager (taken over from Katherine who sent you the free voucher last time!)

First of all, I want to thank Zoe for her kind words. I don’t think I’ve bounced around my bedroom this much since I last drank Shloer! I was even in Tesco today shopping (like most other customers there) and I was stood looking at the Shloer shelf, watching it looking at me, tormenting me…

I miss my Shloer. :cry:

Seriously, it’s been a nightmare. I can’t wait for Lent to be over. I’m going to clear my local Tesco of all the Shloer they’ve got, so if you want some you’d be best to stock up quickly now whilst you have the chance.

It’s great to hear about this year’s plans for Shloer. I can’t wait for the day that I can go into a pub with friends and whilst they’re ordering a pint, I can order a glass of Shloer instead. That’d be so awesome. In fact, I’d love it if they did Shloer in pints aswell!

I was talking to my good friend Jim earlier today about Shloer in pubs (see, I’m already spreading the word) and he said that he doesn’t see how it would be hard to get it to sell in pubs considering how nice it tastes. :)

So to help achieve this goal, I’m already starting to plan a ‘Shloer-drive Campaign’ to help spread awareness of Shloer as much as I can. So all of you reading this… stay tuned ;)

In the mean time, do as Zoe says and spread the word about Shloer! Ask for it in your local pub and when they say they don’t have it, ask why not, ask to see the manager and then ask if they can start to stock it. Get your friends to do the same. Get everyone everywhere drinking Shloer and we shall create a nation of Shloerolics!!!

Once the Shloer-drive campaign starts, get all your friends to visit this site (and Shloer.com) and then we can help spread Shloer awareness, or Shloerness, if you will. :) To get things started (aside from this post)l, I’ve also added a ‘Shloer’ category to the categories menu on the front page of this website for any and all Shloer-related posts. :D

Trust me, if you haven’t tried Shloer yet then you don’t know what you’re missing!!! :D
