That’s right, there’s a new Shloer TV advertisement on UK television this Tuesday.

Zoe from Shloer has once again returned to this site and kindly left the following message;

Hi Al,

Just a quick note to let you know the new Shloer TV ad has its first airing on Tuesday 16th May on Channel 4 during the episode of Lost. Watch our for it – we think it’s great! (not biased at all!)

Thanks,
Zoe

Make sure you don’t miss it. If you’re not tuning in for Lost anyway you should be ashamed of yourself – but for those of you smart people who are – don’t even THINK about going to the toilet once the adverts have started. I’m eager to see what the new ads are like. I should also mention that this bottle I’m drinking right now is about to run out. I wish Tesco was open late on a Sunday. :(

I’ve finally gotten round to taking the network card out of this pc and put it into my old Windows98 machine, which means that I’ve finally got that computer on the network. With only a 2GB hard drive, space was a big issue. This now means that I have 3 computers in my room with internet access at the same time.

It also means I’m a bit of a geek.

But meh, I don’t care.

I was going to go into a load of other stuff but to be honest, I’m not really feeling up to it. I’ve just got back from the cinema with Dave and his twin brother Chris where we watched Silent Hill. Now I don’t want to shatter any illusions, but it’s pretty bad. Yet it’s good. But most of all, it’s sick. I’m not sure how it compares to the computer game because unfortunately I’ve never been able to have a go.

Visually, it was outstanding. The special effects and atmosphere and just the sheer imagination behind the film were spectacular. The use of sound I thought was brilliant (especially near the beginning with the child-like creatures).

It’s a horror movie, and at that it succeeds. The three of us have seen some pretty sick movies in our time, but I don’t think anything has really compared to that film. It was pretty brutal. Dave and Chris have both gone to their own homes to try and get to sleep as soon as possible, probably in the hope that they can get to sleepy-town before their nightmares notice.

Dave’s also been awake for 24 hours. So the movie kinda messed him up twice. We’d also just been watching Finding Nemo just before we went. So erm, yeah… pretty big contrast.

The script unfortunately was kinda ambiguous in a lot of places and we thought that the dialogue was pretty poor. Which is really a shame to be honest. We all left the movie, feeling kind of ill. And erm, yeah. I don’t really feel like talking about much right now.

But just make sure you don’t miss that Shloer advert. That’s going to be cool.

I should stop watching movies like Silent Hill. I’ve just realised that I’ve been hugging my now-empty bottle of Shloer for comfort… :?
