After Dave and I both made the first podcast (which we called ‘TheChoad.com Podcast’) Steve was ill once again and left us to be repaired. The problem this left me with was that all I had was my PC. And it’s amazing how frustrating I find using a PC now since switching to a Mac.

We also use Garageband, so podcasts were out of the question until Steve returned. But with my PC annoying the hell out of me as my primary machine I really didn’t feel like posting. I’m sorry, but it’s true. I was kinda gutted about Steve though anyway, especially after hearing from the guy fixing him saying “We can’t actually get it to power up at the moment”.

Anyway, to cut a long story short (especially as most of it is explained in the 2nd podcast) the 1st podcast was quite easily noticable.

We now have the second one (which has changed its name to the more friendly name of ‘The Choad Show’) and I realised that if I start posting, then that podcast goes further down the pile of posts. And not only that, but anyone not subscribed to the podcast through iTunes (or whatever other program) will have a tough time finding the latest podcast.

So, as you will now see on the front page there is a podcast information bar just below the menu bar. From this bar, you can see the link to the latest podcast as well as subscribe via the iTunes Music Store.

The benefit of this is that if you’ve already downloaded the podcast and you’re visiting the site then clicking on that link will take you to a post which (more often than not) will contain extra information about the podcast. Consider it like extra behind-the-scenes info.

I’ve also made a very quick logo for The Choad Show which will be appearing in the 3rd episode which is due out on Friday.

If you have any questions or problems regarding downloading and listening to the show, then click on the ‘Podcasts’ link on the menu bar and read the FAQ. If your question still hasn’t been answered then use the contact form and we’ll see what we can do. :)
