Trev
Location: London, UK
Trev is a half-irish, self-proclaimed geek who revels in his encyclopaedic knowledge of comics, retro gaming, science fiction and 80s cartoons.
To say that he’s a lover of strong language and shock-humour would be an understatement, but somehow he always manages to get away with saying the darnedest of things.
In 2011 Trev joined Al to become a co-founder of Dizzy Tissue Studios.
And then he went back in time to co-found you with your Mum.
Born as a human to human parents, Trev spent the first seven years of his life in Leicester being raised by Transformers, the Ghostbusters and the crew of the USS Enterprise (specifically all those who served aboard the NCC-1701, the NCC-1701-A and NCC-1701-D).
His Dad’s career took his family to the less famous part of Essex that you normally don’t see on television. The following eighteen years were spent mostly attending school, watching football, Star Trek: The Next Generation on Sky One (back when SkyTV was phenomenally good and cutting edge) as well as playing classic games such as Elite, International Superstar Soccer and Ridge Racer.
Trev studied Drama at college, but upon realising that he wouldn’t get a stable career from it he left sixth form and spent the next few years floundering through numerous rubbish jobs. He began to grow increasingly tired of them which eventually helped him decide to go to Uni to study Multimedia Computing.
Three years later he graduated to a triumphant fanfare of yet more rubbish jobs. But the real tipping point was when he decided that living with his parents at the age of 25 wasn’t for him – so along with some friends, he moved to Colchester (or Camuludunum as the Romans called it).
In late 2008 a new job propelled him to the nation’s capital city of London (or Londinium as he calls it). It was there that he met Al. Initially drawn together by a shared love for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, they later discovered that their own encyclopaedic knowledge of anything even remotely geek-centric was rivalled only by the other’s. It was this that led to Trev eventually joining Al on The Choad and for them to start up Dizzy Tissue Studios together.
Trev is a true Charlton Athletic football supporter and also enjoys rugby and NFL.
He is an avid Laserdisc collector. This is in addition to his ever-growing collection of video games, featuring every major console known to man and all other humanoid species in the galaxy (with the exception of the Klingons and the Tellarites who don’t care for such games).
He has high hopes that someday his video game collection “will merge into one giant self-aware entity and become V’Ger, or something”.
He also idolises Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Optimus Prime and Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe.
End of Line.
